Keith, around 6 or 7 bikes from Spore will be coming over there.. Tentative date reaching Betong is 31st aug(morning)
Azli will be reaching a day earlier to meet u rite? We might not be able to ride with our Abg Long cos some of them have leave issues at work..
dont think most are keen on Hatyai bikeweek.. But as you know sometimes, last minute changes are bound to happen. 
Keep us updated on ur recce trip ...

Bro, you mean July 31? oR August 1 (Sunday)?
The plan is to depart from Rawang R&R Petronas Station at 7am. Assuming that the Spore bikes are heading out at say 2am, for a slow cool ride...then ETA Rawang R&R will also be around 7 or a tad earlier.
if we roll Rawang at 7am . ETA Betong at 12noon.
WOW! 6bikes will make some 25bikes of all makes & cc.
~ Group 1 : Azry & I +?? will be heading for Yala on Sunday Aug 1, say 10-11am
~ Group 2: Some 10 bikes will be 'escorting' us to Yala, to also meet some KB Bikers from Kota Bharu..before proceeding SE home.
~ Group 3: Some will be coming home to KL & Penang on Sunday Free&easy time...
Great time for us to know each other!

ETD from S'pore Saturday morning 12am .. Not too sure yet if we reaching saturday or sunday morning cos some of them planned to stay a night at Terengganu, go via Gerik enroute Betong... some planned to ride straight up Betong.. For me personally, i have no preference on the schedule cos i'll be very free during that period (In Semi-retirement mode inspired by Our Dato Azly)
i need to reconfirm again with these guys as there may be different opinions... However Betong ride is 100% confirm.. Hatyai - 0%
Will get back to u on the timings, arrival date... etc...
It's good for fellow bikers to meet and get to know one another..

Keith,
As of now,everything is confirmed on my side and I will be meeting you on Friday,the 30th of July at 7am,Rawang R&R.Unless at the very last minute my shipment to Maldives needs attention,I might have to forgo this trip and plan another one.However,I am dealing with the Americans on these and we all know that Asians are far more hardworking than them,so getting them to finalise the shipping bythis month end is almost impossible.If if that happens,I would have struck lottery big time!
I will go according to my plans as I would not be able to wait for the rest of the AT guys as they have too many suggestions on routes and destinations.My obejective for the trip is to ride,reach Cambodia and be back in SG latest by the 9th of Aug to celebrate national day otherwise I may lose my citizenship.

A really fruitful trip although with some hiccups along the way.Nevertheless,enjoyed the ride with our dear Bro Keith.Nice and accomodating as a ride buddy.
I would recommend the next Chicken run for all the AT kakis.Although some of you were in Betong on my second day,we could not meet up as the communication link was down.
Managed to catch up with SMAT though when he could not locate the rest of his ride kakis.Ride with Bro Keith and he makes sure there are no man left behind.Good ride coordinator with ample knowledge!Kudos to Bro keith for organising the trip with some 10 bikes sending us off from Yala.

hmmm.. i wonder where u found him...
he wasn't left behind but he detoured to a different direction
anyway thanks for keeping him for the first night..
